Wedding ceremony after 20 years together

This couple asked for a simple and laic ceremony...

especially without religious or spiritual allusions. Everything happened naturally and spontaneously in a friendly, family atmosphere : they wished to be surrounded by their entire extended family from both sides : sisters, children, grandchildren and close friends. During the ceremony, they announced their goals and aspirations, explaining to us what « Love » meant to them after their long path. A ritual with candles and "handfasting" allowed the four witnesses to bless their union. The grandchildren were proud to be present and one of them even said : "I was lucky to be there at the wedding of my grandparents" - Two musicians embellished the event with some fine music. Time : 40 minutes

I really appreciate this simple and friendly moment and I think it's an excellent idea to get married at home. Their house has a beautiful view and it seemed to me like such a sweet and quiet interlude with a lovely family. I was touched by these couples who have loved each other for such a long time and have offered themselves a day to "celebrate" what has been built. I suggested to meet with them again in 20 years !
